Linda Smith Ridgeway, 67, of Paducah, Kentucky, died Friday, October 9, 2009, 11:56 A.M. at Lourdes Hospital.

She was employed by Tamco Properties and retired as Property Manager for the Dudley Court Apartments. She was a member of the Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries where she was a Sunday School Teacher, sang in the Mass Choir and served on the Church decorating committee and Mentoring ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the late Harold D. Smith and Velma Smith Wade, two sisters and a brother.

Linda is survived by two sons, Steven A. Ridgeway and Mark Ridgeway both of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Deana Ridgeway of Paducah, KY., Veronica Ridgeway and Lori D. Ridgeway both of Louisville, KY.; eleven brothers, Harold Vincent Smith, Ezell Smith, Harold D. Smith, Jake Smith, Nate Smith, Sanford Smith, Don Smith, Damon Smith, David Wade, Larry Wade and Jerry Wade; ten sisters, Jackie Smith, Frances Smith Copeland, Irma Smith Cheek, Naomi Smith, Betty Simmons, Edith Wade, Judy Wade, Deborah Wade, Rosalind Wade and Barbara McDonald; eight grandchildren; one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2009, 1:00 P.M. at the Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries. Rev. Barbara Burrage and Rev. Michael Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at the church.
