Obituary
Leveland P. Rush, 72 of Paducah, KY died, Saturday, November 6, 2010, 3:08 pm at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Mr. Rush was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation and was a retired Minister.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lathun Rush and Carrie Sealse, and two brothers.
Mr. Rush is survived by his wife, Marquitta Whitfield Rush, Paducah, KY; 28 children, 70 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren and a host of great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Colleen Fonseca, Los Angeles, CA, Denole Brown; One Brother, Terry Hardering, both of Peoria, IL; Several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 13, 2010, 12 Noon, at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend W. G. Harvey, Sr. and Reverend Michael Wade will officiate. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO.
The family will receive visitors Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
