Leroy Parker, Jr., 64, of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Paducah, passed away Friday, December 1, 2017, 1:00 pm, at the Alvin C. York VA Medical Center Murfreesboro VA Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

He was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and formerly employed as a taxi cab driver.

Leroy was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Elam Sr. and Ella Mae Robertson Elam and his wife Sharon K. Walker Parker.

He is survived by two sons , Corey Green, Paducah, KY and Rondell Walker, Murfreesboro, TN; one daughter , Courtney Walker, Murfreesboro, TN; two grandsons ; and other relatives. .

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, December 15, 2017, 1:00 PM, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Friday from 12 noon until the funeral hour.

Burial will be Monday, December 18, 2017, 11:30 a.m., in Mound City National Cemetery, Mound City, Illinois.
