Lequita Ann Cole Quarles, 61, Paducah, formerly of Morganfield, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014, 2:50 am at her residence. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Nurse Aide and Daycare Ministries. She was a graduate of Union County High School and was certified as a licensed practical nurse. She was an employee of Kids R Kids Daycare. She is survived by her husband, Garrett Quarles of Morganfield; one son, Larry V. Quarles of Paducah; three daughters, E. Christina Holley of Bowling Green and Letitia M. Quarles and Renee Garrnett, both of Paducah; her father, Ralph V. Cole, Sr. of Paducah; three brothers, Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. of Paducah, James Cole and Larry Cole, both of Morganfield; one sister, Marie Washington of Louisville; five grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Lucille Cole, one brother, and one granddaughter. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 17, 2014, at Carrs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church , 628 West Main Street in Morganfield at 1:00 pm with Reverend Richard Pollard officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery also in Morganfield. Friends may call on Thursday, January 16, 2014, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah and again on Friday at Carrs Chapel Missionary Baptist Church from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
