Leon Rouse, 61, of Paducah passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, 9:44 a.m. at Lourdes Hospital. He was a member of New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Usher of the church.

He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was formerly employed by Harper's Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Rouse of Paducah, two daughters, Jacqueline Copper and Regina Carter both of Paducah; one son, Reginald Copper of Clinton,KY; fourteen Grandchildren, five Great-Grandchildren, one brother, Terry Rouse of Paducah; six sisters, Merlean Kelly, Geraldine Rouse, Barbara Rouse, Rava N. Rouse, Linda Ruth Rouse Hamilton and Yvonne Rouse all of Paducah, one aunt and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar D. Rouse and Lula Mae Dance Rouse, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, April 30, 2016 12 noon, at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends LaRita Horton and Michael Moss officiating.

Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may call on Saturday, April 30, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at the church.
