Larry Eugene Jones, age 61, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 4:25 a.m.at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

He was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and an alumni of West Kentucky-Vocational Technical School where he was a graduate and was employed as a floor technician at Lourdes Hospital.

Survivors include one daughter, Katrina Turner of Warren, MI,two grandchildren; a devoted companion , Patricia Morris of Paducah, KY; four sisters, Sarah Jalks of Jackson, TN, Tina Glenn of Detroit ,MI, Patricia Jones of Chicago, IL and Kim Martin of Paducah, KY; seven step-children, Francis Sumbol, Christie Morris, Alesha George, Taronica George, Ranisha Elam, Demetris Morris and Jaron Hayslett; twenty-one step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Jones and Beatrice Fields Jones.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 6, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Friday, October 5, 2018, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
