Lamaine "Chop" Davone Brown, age 43, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Paducah, Kentucky, passed from his earthly home on Sunday, September 27, 2020, 7:08 p.m. at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Lamaine was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was a culinary chef employed with various restaurants.
He enjoyed cooking, was the jokester of the family and loved making people laugh. Always wearing a big smile, Lamaine was respected and known as an all-around standup good guy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rhoda Brown.
He leaves to cherish sweet memories; two daughters, Kaleigh Brown of Lexington, KY, Katelyn Brown of McCordsville, IN; two sons, Micah Brown of Lexington, KY and Kaiden Brown of McCordsville, IN; his father, Robert (Vivian) Blythe, of Toledo, OH three brothers, Cornelius Grant Brown of Bremerton, WA, Marlon Brown of Paducah, KY and Gamaine (Deva) Brown of Metropolis, IL; one grandson, Azai Daniel of Lexington, KY; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, 10:30 a.m. at Pettus Rowland funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Gwendolyn Duncan officiating.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Due to the Covid-19 state mandated restrictions we ask that you enter the funeral home wearing both a face mask and gloves and observe six feet social distancing within our facility.
