Lacosta Martinique Townsley, age 41, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018, 4:25 a.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

She was a member of Rosary Chapel Catholic Church where she served as a youth ministry leader. She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and West Kentucky Community and Technical College. Lacosta was employed as a patient access registrar at Lourdes Hospital and was a member of the NIA Dancers.

She is survived by one daughter , Aleja J. Grant and her mother , Madonna Matchem, both of Paducah; two brothers , Byron Demetrius Townsley of Paducah and Johnny Lee Townsley, Jr. of Manchester, KY; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Lee Townsley; one brother and one sister.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018, 1:00 p.m., at Rosary Chapel Catholic Church with Father Stan Puryear officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
