Katie Katherine "KK" Loving was called to her Heavenly Home from the Countryside Health Care Center in Bardwell, Kentucky on Tuesday, November 5, 2019, at 7:20 am.

Katie was a lifelong and oldest member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Bardwell. She had served as church clerk, youth Sunday school teacher, usher, and on the culinary committee. She also sang in the church choir and was a member of the St. John Missionary Society. She had attended the former Lincoln High School in Paducah. Katie was also a loving and caring homemaker who served several families in Bardwell.

Katie is survived by one son , Mahlon W. Thomas of Bardwell; two grandsons , James Loving II of Paducah and Edward Loving of Mayfield; one granddaughter , Michell Martin of Kankakee, IL; four great-grandsons ; six great-granddaughters ; one great great-grandson ; two great great-granddaughters ; one sister , Imogene Hall of Milwaukee, WI; one brother-in-law , Herman Stokes of Toledo, OH; one sister-in-law , Grace Loving of Rockford, IL; five nephews ; seven nieces ; many cousins and a host of friends .

She was preceded in death by her parents , Edward Loving and Irene Martin Loving; one son , James C. Loving and his wife Jacqueline Hoskins Loving; one brother , James E. Loving; three sisters , Betty Bradford, Christine Stokes, and Elnora Loving.

The family welcomes you to join them in a Celebration of Life for Katie and to share memories on Thursday, November 14, 1:00 pm, at the Bardwell Christian Church Disciples of Christ, HWY 51 S in Bardwell. Reverend Wendell D. Gray will officiate and burial will follow in Allcock Cemetery also in Bardwell.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Milner and Orr Funeral Home in Bardwell located at 41 US HWY 51 S. Friends may also call again at Bardwell Christian Church on Thursday from 9:00 am until the funeral hour.
