Obituary
Karen L. Moore, 50, Paducah, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014, 1:51 pm at Baptist Health Paducah.
She was a member of Miles Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where she taught children's Sunday School Class, served on the culinary committee and sang in the church choir. She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and both Franklin College and Draughon's Business College where she received certification in business administration. She was formerly employed with Lourdes Hospital in Patient Accounting.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Diane Moore and a sister.
Karen is survived by a son, Justin D. Moore, Sr. of Paducah; her father, Marshall Weatherspoon of Paducah; four grandchildren; one brother, Jerry V. Moore of Paducah; one sister, Paula A. Moore of Paducah; two uncles; one aunt; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service for Karen will be Saturday, October 11, 2014, 12:00 Noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverends Alfred Anderson and Eric McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
