Julius Lee Cole age 76 of Paducah, passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 4:59 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was born on July 3, 1946, in Jackson, TN, to the late Joe Lewis Cole and Jennie Mae Watkins Cole.

Julius was of the Baptist faith and had attended church in Jackson, TN before relocating to Paducah.  He was formerly employed as a truck driver for Central Paving.

Julius loved watching westerns and taking on an opponent in the game of spades.  Although he was a humorous person by nature, he was still quite reserved and quiet.  He loved eating rabbit, working on cars and riding around in his truck.
Everybody was quite dependent on Julius in that he was the neighborhood handyman who would help anyone to do whatever their need might require.

Julius leaves to cherish his many fond memories : Two Sons , Julius Lee (Misty) Cole, Jr. of Jackson, TN and Joseph (Belladonna) Cole of Paducah, KY ; Two Daughters , Alevionna Sloan and Luella Eidson both of Paducah, KY ; Several Grandchildren ; Three Great-Grandchildren ; One Brother , Jessie Cole of Paducah, KY ; Three Sisters , Leona (Andrew) Mason of Paducah, KY , Sheila Willis of Jackson, TN and Lisa (Dr. Lee) Wilkins of Memphis, TN ; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Julius was preceded in death by One Daughter , Vickie Cole; Three Brothers , Herman Louis Cole, Richard Lee Cole, and James Edward Cole, and Three Sisters , Lizzie Ruth Bolden, Willietta Goodman and Lucy Mae Russell.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, January 13, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Cecil Cole officiating.

Family and friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
