Julia "JuJu" Teague, age 43 of Paducah, transitioned from this earthly life to eternal life on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 11:53 a.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

Julia was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church.

She was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was employed by the Paducah Area Transit Systems.

Julia's family remembers her as a good mother, a strong caring person, always lending a helping hand to others, a great person to talk too and her melodious smile.  She was a great decorator and loved the musical rapper "Method Man" she thought that he was her husband. Most of all she loved her family

Julia was preceded in death by her parents, John Caesar Dabney and Gerone Lighfoot Dabney.

She leaves to cherish precious memories: one daughter, Adriana Norris, two sons, Roman Chukelu and Johnathan Chukelu all of Paducah; one sister, Audrey Hough of Tucson, AZ, one brother, Jimmy Davis of Paducah; one grandson, Xavier Norris and one granddaughter, Nia Norris both of Paducah, three nieces, Quanesha Roberts of Louisville, KY, Cymone Teague and Gerone Teague both of Jackson, MS; several cousins and friends.

A private memorial service will be held.
