Obituary
Julia M. Jackson, 83, Paducah, died Friday, May 28, 2010, 12:25 p.m., at Western Baptist Hospital.
Mrs. Jackson was a member of the former Clay Street Christian Church and a graduate of the former Lincoln High School. She was employed by the Department for Social Insurance and retired as a secretary in 1991.
She is survived by a son, Alan L. Hodge of Paducah; two daughters, Janice M. Shaw and Teresa A. Brooks, both of Paducah; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jewel Titsworth and Sallie Dawson, a daughter Velma Lee Hodge and a sister.
Memorial Services were held on Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Anthony Walton officiated.
