Obituary
Julia Brown Bishop, age 74, of Nashville, TN formerly of South Fulton, TN passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2016, 9:34 a.m. at her residence.
She received certification in drafting and blue printing from Purdue University and retired from Inland Steel Mill of Chicago, Illinois.
Her parents Wyley Brown and Tommie Lou Yould Brown; a son Keith Willard Bishop and a daughter Tammi Bishop Washington preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Maurice Bishop of Nashville, TN; a daughter, Melanie Bishop of Nashville, TN; Five Grandchildren; Nine Great-Grandchildren; Two sisters, Patsy Oliver of Mayfield, KY and June Tucker of Union City, TN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, 11:00 a.m. at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Union City, Tn. Reverends A.D. McCadney and Royce Oliver will officiate with burial to follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
