Joyce Moore Burrell, age 72, of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, 4:16 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

She worked as a Mental Health Coordinator at Sikeston Regional Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

She was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Harvey and Dora Mae Harvey Moore, one brother and one step-brother.

She is survived by three daughters, LaShonda Kaye Moore and Faith Yvonne Moore both of Paducah; Sylvia Mitchell of Chicago, IL; one son , Shawn (Angela) Ruffin of Sikeston, MO; three grandchildren ; two great-grandchildren; five sisters , Carolyn Maxine Harvey and Doralyn A. Warren both of Paducah; Phyllis Person and Linda S. Weatherspoon both of Hickman, KY; Linda L. (Pete) Williams of Union City, TN; two brothers , Russell (Helen) Rogers of Arlington, VA and William Richard (Clorinda) James II of Cape Girardeau, MO., several nieces, nephews and cousins .

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 16, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Raynarldo Henderson and Rev. Kenneth Holloway officiating.

Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
