Obituary
Joshua De'Shun Brantley, Sr., 29, of Lavergne, TN, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017, 10:25 a.m. at Alive Hospice of Madison, TN.
He was a former member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church and was formerly employed at Green Moving and Storage in Nashville.
He is survived by two sons, Joshua De'Shun Brantley, Jr. of Nashville, TN and Jaxson Brantley of Shelbyville, TN; his parents Curtis (Lola) Brantley of Haughton, LA and Karla Drew Brantley of Lavergne, TN;
One sister, Elmira Drew Washington of Lavergne, TN; two brothers, Christopher Brantley of Lavergne, TN and Curtis Brantley, Jr. of OH; two step-sisters, MaKayla Lee of Haughton, LA and Mary Richardson of Bossier, LA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 25, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Bobby Leggs officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
