Joseph Bryant Patton, Jr., age 60, of Paducah, formerly of Fulton, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2016, approximately 2:30 p.m. at his residence.

He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, a retired security officer from Provena St. Joseph's Medical Center in Joliet, IL. and a licensed and ordained minister.

He is survived by two daughters, Kelley Suzanne Patton Osiro of Little Rock, AR and Tia Nicole Patton of Plainfield, IL; two sons, Joseph Bryant Patton III and Tristan Ball, Both of Joliet, IL; two grandchildren; three brothers , William Kelly of Antioch, TN, LinRico Nikita Patton of Union City, TN and Jay Brian Patton of Wartburg, TN; three sisters, Melba Felice Roberson of Cape Girardeau, MO and Lazetta Suzette Patton of South Fulton, TN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bryant (JB) Bryant, Sr. and Blanchie Gwendola Jackson Patton and a brother.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, KY with Reverends Anthony Johnson and Donna G. Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.
