Obituary
Joseph Ezell, 71, Paducah, died Thursday, July 21, 2011, 6:35 p.m. at Lourdes Hospital.
He retired as a supervisor of Mead Westvaco after 40 years of service and was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher and on the hospitality ministry.
He is survived by two sons, Mark Ezell of Paducah and Kenneth Ezell of Memphis, TN; two daughters Lynda Ezell of Paducah and Jacquelyn Ezell of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren; a brother Luches Ezell, Jr. of Mobile, AL; four sisters, Lula Drain, Mollie C. Stallwarth, and Lovie Mae Sanders all of Mobile, AL, and Naomi Jackson of Thomasville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents Luches Ezell, Sr. and Agnes Richardson Ezell, two sisters, and a brother.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church at 12:00 Noon. Reverend James L. Hudson will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 10 a.m., with special visitation from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
