Obituary
Johnice Lynette Reese, 58, Paducah, KY died Tuesday, May 24, 2011, 10:35 p.m. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
Ms. Reese was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church. A native of Chicago, she was a graduate of Southshore High School. She was formerly employed by Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and currently working at Texas Roadhouse.
Ms. Reese was preceded in death by Her parents, John Henry Reese and Lola Wade Lurry Reese, and two brothers, Yul M. Reese and Herman E. Reese.
She is survived by one daughter, Lola Wilks, Paducah, KY; four sons, Yul E. Reese, Eleslie J. Wilks, both of Paducah, KY; Paul Wilks, Chicago, IL, Jeremy P. Swofford, Louisville, KY; 23 grandchildren, one great granddaughter; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating, burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
Friends may call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home Saturday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.
