Obituary
John W. Kyles, Jr. 66, of Paducah, formerly of Cairo, IL, died on Monday, February 27, 2012, 2:10 a.m., at
Western Baptist Hospital.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by a daughter, Alice Fitzgerald and a son, John Wayne Kyles, both of Carbondale, IL; a step-father, Charles McCarthy of Brookfield, MS; six grandchildren; 4 step-daughters, Virgie Mae Reeves, Vita Kyles, Chyria Kyles all of Cairo, IL, and Caroline Faulkner, Florida; 5 step-sons, Jamie Reeves, Jermaine Kyles, Robert Kyles, Henry Reeves all of Cairo,IL and Eugene Reeves of St. Louis, MO; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Jordan of Paducah and Mary Jane McCrary of Brookfield, MS; five brothers, Dennis Davis, James McCarthy, and Richard Earl McCarthy all of Brookfield, MS; Noah Davis and Charley Davis, both of Columbus, MS; two aunts, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. Kyles, Sr. and Margie McCarthy.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 3, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at the Ninth Street Church of Christ with Mark Rowe officiating and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 11:00 am until the funeral hour at the church.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
