Obituary
John N. Jones, 71, of Paducah, passed away Monday, July 29, 2013, 8:50 am at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
John was a member of the former Mt. Olive Freewill Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board.
John was a retiree of the Long Concrete and Block Company.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Annie M. Jones of Paducah; two brothers, Henry C. Jones, Jr. of Paducah and Leon Jones of Mamaroneck, NY; two sisters, Beatrice Davis of Springfield, IL and Reverend Henrietta Owens of Paducah; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Henry C. Jones, Sr. and Rosie Mary McEwen Jones and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral service will be Monday, August 5, 2013, 1:00 pm at First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Charles W. Russell officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Monday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
