Joe Lee Reed 30, of Paducah, died June 30, 2009, 11:45 a.m. at Western Baptist Hospital. In Paducah, KY.

Joe was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He was formerly employed by the Western Kentucky Easter Seals Center, and Ryan's Restaurant. He attended Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church.

Joe is preceded in death by his father Lacy Reed, his paternal grandparents J. R. Burts and Sylvia Reed; maternal grandparents, Joe and Carrie Johnson; great grandmother, Annie Mae Lane and Emma Mae Burts.

He is survived by his mother: Wanda Johnson Reed, Paducah, KY, one sister, Thelma Reed, Paducah, KY; one niece: De Lacia Reed, Paducah, KY; five uncles, Henry Lee Gordon, Willie James Reed, and Bobby Reed all of Paducah, KY, Howard Johnson and Joe (Shirley) Johnson, Jr. Cleveland, OH; twelve aunts, Dorothy Reed, Roberta Reed, Annie Mae Reed, Helen Reed, Gladys Reed, Charlene Reed, Mary Reed, Vera Reed, Brenda Williams, Carrie (William Stanley) Jones and Barbara (James) Amos all of Paducah KY; Icie Carter, of Dayton, OH. Several Cousins and friends.

Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2009, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, 1201 South 8th Street, Paducah, KY with Rev. Calvin R. Cole, Sr. Officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, in Paducah, KY.

The family will receive visitors from12:00 Noon until the funeral hour, Friday, July 3, 2009 at the church.
