JoAnn Velma Warren, 70, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016, 6:36 am, at Baptist Health Paducah.
She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Board.
She was formerly employed as a driver with Checker's Cab Service.
While residing in Chicago, Illinois she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliated
and was a hair stylist at a La'Tees Beauty Salon.
She is survived by seven daughters, Marsha Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Arlene Petty, Regina Warren, Tamara Warren and Tina Warren all of Paducah, Lenore Warren of Owensboro and Tina Fells of Chicago, IL; three sons, Antonio Warren of Atlanta, GA, William Warren of Chicago, IL, and London Warren of Paducah; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Starks of Paducah and Charles Times of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Katherine Fells of Chicago, IL and Shirley Boyd of Kensosha, WI; two aunts, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Davis and Elvira Green Davis and three sons, Bernard Warren, Flenard Warren and Dennis Warren.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 25, 2016, 1:00 pm, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
