Jessie Beatrice Thompson Bledsoe, age 74, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017, 6:15 a.m., at her residence.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church and had been formerly employed in both in housekeeping and as a seamstress.

She is survived by one son , Earnest Bledsoe, Jr. of Paducah; five daughters , Norma McMillon, Theresa Hatchett and Lasha Wallace, all of Paducah, Ada Johnson of Severn, MD and Elizabeth Boyd of Covington, TN; Ten grandchildren ; Sixteen great-grandchildren ; four sisters , Hattie Warren of Hickman, KY, Mary Helen Marney of Milwaukee, WI, Virginia Taylor of Union City, TN and Annie Prather of Detroit, MI; one brother , Jerry Wayne Thompson of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Bledsoe, Sr.; her parents, Frank Earl Thompson and Lucille Curry Thompson; two daughters, Juanita Bledsoe Morris and Grace Ann Bledsoe; one grandson; two sisters and three brothers.

Funeral services are schedule for Tuesday, August 1, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Dorothy Byas officiating.  Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Tiptonville, TN.

Friends may also call on the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
