Jesse Arnette Travis, age 63, of Paducah, KY transitioned from his earthly body on April 26, 2025. Born on November 16, 1961, Jesse was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence touched many lives.

Jesse is survived by his devoted wife, Suzanne Travis, and his cherished children: Jessaundra Jackson of Paducah, KY; Jessica Travis of Portland, OR; and Angela Teague of Murphysboro, TN. He leaves behind a proud legacy through his grandchildren: Laniyah Travis, Ailani Taylor, and Kygo Travis, all of Portland, OR; as well as Brandon Donaldson and Heaven Bowen.

Jesse also leaves behind his siblings, Lamont Travis, William "BoBo" Travis, Wanda Travis, and Joe Travis.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, W.C. Travis and Doris Travis and his sister, Sandra Bowen.

Jesse had a deep love for his family and treasured the time spent with them. He was a proud member of Local 879 of Murray, Kentucky, where he built strong bonds and a reputation for hard work and dedication. An avid outdoorsman, Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, and living life to the fullest. He also had a passion for dressing sharp, always making sure he looked his best wherever he went.

Jesse's legacy of love, strength, and laughter will live on through his family and friends. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025, 12 noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Reverend Eric McKinney officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
