Jerry Lee Hollowell, 72, Paducah, passed away at his residence on Thursday, January 17, 2013, at
5:50 am.
Jerry attended Christ Temple Apostolic Church. He was a graduate of the former Lincoln High School and a former member of The Ram Rods Motorcycle Club. Jerry was a retiree of the Pepsi-Cola Company, Co-Owner of Jerry's and Marjorie's Place, and was a self- employed washer and dryer repairman.
He is survived by his wife, Amelia Thomas Hollowell of Paducah; five daughters, Tiffany Thomas Hollowell, Jerrilyn Thomas Hollowell and Diantha Jones, all of Paducah, Aurelia Freeman of Chattanooga, TN, and Vickie Wheeler of Augusta, GA; three sons, Tony Mackey, Charles Mackey, and Demond Thomas, all of Paducah; 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; one brother, James Hollowell; Milwaukee, WI; one uncle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Hollowell and Addie B. Woods Hollowell and two sisters.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 22, 2013, 12 O'clock noon at New Greater Love Missionary Baptist Church. Reverend LaRita Horton and Reverend James H. Vinson will officiate, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Monday, January 21, 2013, 4:00pm to 7:00 pm and again on Tuesday at the church from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
