Obituary

Jerome Titsworth, formerly of Paducah, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at his residence in Snellville, Georgia. At the time of his passing, Jerome had reached the age of 59 years, 9 months, and 3 days.

Jerome was a member of Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Norcross, Georgia. He received an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics and was a certified master mechanic at DW Campbell Goodyear in Atlanta, Ga.

Because Jerome was the type of man who could be relied upon for everything, he was dearly loved by his friends, and the feeling was mutual. He was considered by many to be an undercover agent for the elderly and he wouldn't let anyone do without if that person was in need. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing with his brother Todd, R&B music, barbecue, and absolutely loved to tell jokes and pull pranks on other people. He was a very knowledgeable man who was sincere and dedicated to looking out for his family. His loyalty to family and friends will never be forgotten.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Louis Arnold Titsworth and Mary Lee Dance Titsworth, and one brother, Bobby E. Titsworth.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are his wife of twenty-six years, Valerie Carlisle Titsworth of Snellville, GA; two daughters, Leah Titsworth of Snellville, GA and Joy Reeves of Atlanta, GA; a Step-Son, Justin Carlisle of Norcross, GA; one brother, Todd (Robin) Titsworth of Metropolis, IL; two sisters, Janice Titsworth of Paducah, KY and Donna (Greg) Baker of Cincinnati, OH; one uncle, Otis Titsworth of Paducah, KY; one aunt, Sara Dance Wilson of West Paducah, KY; a Grand Dog, Maxwell; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends including a special brother, Ricky Bacon and cousins Chris Carruthers, Tim Carruthers, Brian Titsworth and best friends Myron Burnette and Lewis Roberts.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
