Jermonie Monia Pitts went to be with the Lord from Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital of Paducah on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 7:39 a.m.  She was born in Paducah, Kentucky on March 21, 2008, as the beautiful baby girl of Tamiko Pitts and Daran Southward.  Jermonie was 13 years, 9 months and 17 days old.

Jermonie was a seventh-grade student who was home-schooled through the Paducah City School System.

Jermonie, a very happy kid", was quite the food connoisseur.  She loved to cook, especially baking her favorite cakes.  Not only was she the cook, but also one to keep both her make-up and nails immaculately done.  Jermonie loved watching television with one of her two "Special People", her granny, Eloise "Weezie" Southward; her other "Special Person" was her nephew, Zy'mir Reese.  In fact, Jermonie loved all her nephews.

Jermonie leaves to cherish her short-lived life: Her Parents , Tamiko Pitts and Daran Southward, both of Paducah, KY; Three Brothers, Shawn Reese of Phoenix, AZ, Corey Galloway of Carbondale, IL and Jesiah Kelley of Paducah; Three Sisters, Shanti Reese, Zoey Kelley and Jahzara Kelley all of Paducah and several cousins .

She was preceded in death by her paternal-grandmother, Eloise Southward and her maternal-grandmother, Rose Pitts.

Jermonie will be dearly missed by her family all others who knew her so well.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, 1:00 p.m., here at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Pastor John Aiken officiating.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour.

All attendees are required to wear masks.
