Jeffery Ross Laster transitioned from this life to Glory at the age of 55 years, 1 month, and 6 days on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 4:11 p.m.  Jefferey was born in Paducah, Kentucky on April 11, 1967, to his loving parents, Dee J. Laster and Trula Mae Moffitt Laster, who preceded him in death.  Those others who preceded him in death are his brother, George Laster and his sister, Charlotte A. Laster.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was an excellent chef in various restaurants in the area, especially at Paducah's former restaurant, Ryan's Steakhouse.

Jeffery was very good at cooking everything.  Whatever it was, he could cook it and make it taste scrumptious.  He was a thoughtful giving person to both his family and friends.  He would do anything for anyone.  Jeffery was a God-fearing individual who loved plants. He was also well-known to his family as their Class "A" comedian since he had a joke for any of them at any time.

Jeffery leaves fond and loving memories of him to Two Sisters , Dranda (David) Young of Paducah, KY and Media Elaine Pizzini of Oklahoma City, OK ; Four Nieces , Mia Davis of Clarksville, TN , Shakeitha (Dominique) Gammans of Huntsville, AL , Charlotte Lynn Laster of Paducah, KY , and Jenifer (Adrian) Starks of Frankfort, KY ; One Nephew , Kenneth Laster of Paducah, KY ; Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends , including His Special Friend , Phyllis Murdock of Paducah, KY .

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 27, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. There will be no visitation.

All attendees are required to wear a mask.
