Jeanette Irene Jones Townsley Humphries, age 53 of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, 6:34 a.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes.

She attended Mt. Horeb Church in Metropolis and was an attendance supervisor for the Paducah Public School System. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Organizational Leadership Studies at Mid-Continent University.

Jeanette met her "Dream Guy" , John Humphries, and was wedded in Holy Matrimony on December 28, 2007.

Jeanette thoroughly enjoyed watching older movies from her childhood.  She would travel to various destinations that she held in her heart.

Those who have reached their Heavenly Home before Jeanette are Maternal Grandparents, Archie Senter and Lizzie Florence Senter; Paternal Grandparents, Manuel and Martha Jones; Aunt, Deborah Lones, Foster Parents,  Hylod Crim  and Leola Marie Crim and her God-Mother, Phyllis Weatherspoon.

She is survived by her husband, John E. Humphries of Cadiz, KY; her parents, Gene and Jeanne Long Jones of Columbia, MO; two daughters, Jade Townsley and Jlea Humphries both of Paducah; two brothers, Jason (Rachael) Jones of Los Angeles, CA and Darren (Yolanda) Jordan of Columbia, MO; three sisters, Felicia (Kevin) Weatherspoon-Howe, Doretha Mburu and Deborah (Martin) Cook all of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, July 24, 2021, 12 noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Tim Humphries officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove  Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Choates, IL.

Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

This service will also be livestreamed Saturday on Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, LLC Facebook Page beginning at 11:50 a.m.

Masks are required for all in attendance.
