Jeanette M. Johnson, 68, of South Fulton, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016, 5:00 a.m., at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield.

She was a member of Christ Church Holiness where she served as a Mother of the Church. She attended Rend Lake College and was also formerly employed as a nurse's aide in several nursing facilities.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald L. Wood of Mt. Vernon, IL and Charles H. Wood of Salem. IL; two brothers, Daniel Stalzer of Plainfield, Il and Gene Stalzer of Mt. Vernon, IL ; one sister, Betty Worner of Oak Lawn, IL; two grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reverend Robert E. Johnson and her parents, Henry Stalzer and Elizabeth B. Miller Stalzer.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016, 12:00 noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend James Bolen will officiate and burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour.
