Janiero D. King, age 57 of Paducah, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 8:15 p.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes.

He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman School and a member of Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church where he served in the Audio Visual Ministry. He was employed by Paducah Power System as a Warehouse Stock Clerk for 22 years and served in the United States Army Reserve.

He was preceded in death by his father, Randy King, and one brother, James Randall King.

He is survived by his wife, Vernesie E. Atkins King of Paducah; two daughters, Shanice King of Paducah and Melissa Wilson of Clarksville, TN; his mother, Phyllis Walker Anderson; his step-father , Reverend Alfred  (Sheila) Anderson of Paducah, KY; three sisters, Patrina King and Penny King both of Paducah and Tracey Mosley of California; three grandchildren , Aubrey King, Joshua Wilson, and Julian Wilson; three nephews, two nieces , two great nieces , one great nephew , and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, September 16, 2021, 12 noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial with Military Rites will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Masks are required for all attendees.
