James "Duna" Wilson III, age 49, of Paducah, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017,

4:41 a.m., at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

James was a member of New Greater Love Church.  He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and was formerly employed as a security guard at Lynx Services of Paducah.

James is survived by one son , Cedric Trevon Shaw of Paducah; one uncle , Olton Dodd of Lawrenceville, GA; three aunts , Janice F. Williams of Paducah, Dorothy Newbern of Charlotte, NC, Lucille McConnell of Adairsville, GA; one step-daughter , Cassidy McClendon of Paducah; and several cousins .

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Wilson, Jr. and Linda Dodd Wilson and one brother.

Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2017, 1 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery.  Reverend LaRita Horton will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until 12:30 pm.
