James Leroy "Sonny" White, Paducah passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, 3:09 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

He was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church and retired from the maintenance department at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with over 50 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe White and Dorothy Mae Fox White, two sons, James William White and Charles Edward White and two sisters.

Survivors include: three daughters, Denise M. White and Linda White both of Paducah, KY, and Janice Siples of Rocky Mount, NC; two sons Mark White of Louisville, KY and Gary White of Chicago, IL; Thirteen Grandchildren; Twenty-One Great-Grandchildren ; one niece and other relatives.

Services are scheduled for Monday, January 8, 2018, 10:00 A.M. at the Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend James L. Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
