Obituary
James "Jimmy" R. Crawford, Sr., 60, of Paducah, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015, 9:59 PM, at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He was a Duke of Paducah and formerly employed as a sanitation engineer for the City of Paducah.
He is survived by his wife, Virnora McNichols Crawford of Paducah; two daughters, Twyler Moore of Atlanta, GA, and Amber Braima of Paducah; three sons, James Crawford, Jr., and Johnathan Braima, both of Paducah and Andre Braima of Pembroke, NC; five Grandchildren, two sisters, Tinia Farley and Ninia Bruton, both of Paducah; four aunts, seven uncles, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rudell Crawford and Melvie Cork Lowery.
Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 5, 2015, 11:30 am, at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating. Entombment will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Friday, December 4, 2015, 5:00 pm to 7:00pm.
