James William (Micky) White, 63, Paducah, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2012, 1:19 pm, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

James was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and the University of Iowa where he was certified in carpentry. He was formerly employed as a laborer at Meyers Lumber Company.

James is survived by his parents James L. White and Ruby Pearl Petty; two brothers, Gary S. White of Paducah and Mark A. White of Louisville; three sisters, Denise M. White and Linda D. White, both of Paducah and Janice E. Siples of Rocky Mount, NC; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles E. White.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 14, 2012, 11:00 am, at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L. Hudson officiating.

Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the memorial hour.
