Obituary
James Edward George, 63, Paducah, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, 6:34 P. M. at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah.
James was a member of Truth Will Abound Ministries. He retired after 46 years as a laborer from Schmidt Farms.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Polk George and Mae Woods George.
James is survived by is wife, Bobbie Sue George, Paducah, KY, three step-sons, Frank Hopkinsville, KY, Billy Ray, Muncie IN, Robert, Paducah, KY, two sisters, Jewel Ferguson and Bettye Bradshaw, both of Paducah, KY two granddaughters, one uncle, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held Sunday, May 23, 2010, 6:00 P. M. at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street, Paducah, KY with Derek Smoot officiating. Burial FollowED, Monday, May 24, 2010 at 12 Noon at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah.
The family received visitors Sunday, May 23, 2010 3:00 P. M. until the funeral hour at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
