James Arlester Foreman, age 55, of Paducah, Kentucky died Friday, August 14, 2009, 1:26 P. M. at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
James is a veteran of the United States Navy. He graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Art Education from Murray State University. He worked as a hair stylist while residing in California. James was a former member of Mt. Olive Freewill Baptist Church. He was presently a member of St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church where he sang with the Mass choir and Male Chorus and was being appointed to the Steward Board.
He is preceded in death by, his Mother, Rosella Faulkner English, one sister, Francine English, and one brother, Robert English.
He is survived by his father John Foreman; Paducah, KY; two brothers, Carlos English; Paducah, KY, Keith Renee Foreman; Chicago, IL; three sisters, Rochelle Smith; Lexington, KY, Jacqueline English & Debbie Blythe; Both of Paducah, KY; one aunt, one uncle, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009, 1:00 P. M. at St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, 806 Tennessee Street, Paducah, KY. Reverend Darvin Adams will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 11:00 A. M. until the funeral hour at St. James Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.
