Jacolby D. Askew, 22, Paducah died Monday approximately 6 a.m. from injuries resulting from a train incident in Paducah.
He attended Paducah Tilghman High School and West Kentucky Community & Technical College. He was a member of Rosary Chapel and attended The Church of the Living God.
He also toured as a dancer with gospel artist Eddie James.
Mr. Askew was formerly employed by Paducah Rigging Co.
He is survived by his father, Kim D. Askew of Paducah; his mother, Dvonne Hall Miller of Paducah; his stepfather, Odell Miller of Paducah; two brothers, Justin Hall and Joshua Askew, both of Paducah; a sister, LaMiira Askew of Paducah; his grandparents, George Cole of Joliet, Ill., and Dorothy Hall of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a brother and grandmother, Bernice Askew.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Rosary Chapel with the Rev. Uwem Enoh officiating.
Burial will follow on Monday at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 3 p.m. Sunday.
