J. B. Bridget, age 76 of Paducah, transitioned from his earthly home on Friday, February 4, 2022 at approximately 1:52 p.m. at Baptist Health Paducah.

J. B. was a graduate of Lincoln High School and formerly worked for Walmart as a door greeter.

J. B. loved football, being a big Tennessee Titan fan.  He loved being around people and making them laugh. Listening to his favorite R & B musical group the "Manhattans" was his highlight, and let's not forget his dog "Eli" who he was so affectionately fond of.

J. B. was preceded in death by his parents, Lapoleon Bridget and Sue Dell Tharpe Bridget, three brothers, Terry Bridget, Sherman Bridget and James Leon Bridget, one sister, Linda Sue Bridget.

He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife of 28 years, Kimberly Jackson Bridget of Paducah, three sisters, Dorothy Jean Senter of Fulton, Sandra Bridget and Beverly Bridgett both of Paducah, one step-grandson, Ishmael Hart, niece, Chan Stubblefield, nephew, R. Timon (Angenett) Bramley of Paducah and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, February 19, 2022, 12 noon at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Pastor Anthony Walton officiating. Burial to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Attendees are required to wear a mask.
