Obituary
Irene Louise Holland, 84, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015, 9:28 am, at Baptist Health of Paducah.
She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mother's Ministry and the Culinary Committee. She was formerly employed as a cook at the Paducah
School Systems, the former Greyhound Bus Station and the Paducah Day Nursery.
She is survived by Three Daughters, Sherline Holland-Cooper and Faye Thacker, both of Paducah, KY and Brenda Smith of San Antonio, TX; Ten Grandchildren and Five Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Holland, a son, Carl Holland, and her parents, Isaac Stringer and Corine Lawrence Stringer.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 31, 2015, 12:00 Noon, at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
