Inolla Ernestine Newsome Waller of Nashville, Tennessee, formerly of both Brookport, Illinois and Paducah, Kentucky, died at the residence of her Niece and Nephew, Hazel and Jeff, in Nassau Bahamas, on December 31, 2024, at the age of 86.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Taylor and her parents, James, Carrie, and Lura Newsome.

She is survived by her niece, Hazel Dorsett (Jeff);  granddaughters, Fa'Tima Taylor, Mariah Ellison, Cydney Gordon; grandsons, Marcus Brown, Melvin Brown and Kevin Thurman; great-grandchildren, Jakobi Luss, Kairo Taylor, Londyn Ellison, Latroy Ellison Jr., Dorian Higgins, Kaylor Brown, Nickayly English, Dathan English and Mylani Brown: god-daughters; Kim Washington Mallard, Ma'Lia Kingston, and Tina Fletcher; devoted cousins, Arthur Givens, Tony Newman and "Lil" Erma Spears; best friends, Murna Vantrease, Ann Mahalia Carruthers and a host of friends and other relatives.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, 1:00 p.m. at Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis, IL with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.
