Ina Louise Sowell, age 86, of Paducah passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017, 7:35 a.m. at her residence.

Ina was a life- member of Rosary Chapel Catholic Church where she sang in the church choir and served in the Women's Ministry. She also was a member of the Daughters of Isabella Circle #258.

She was preceded in death by her parents Matthew D. McCauley, Sr. and Leola Evelyn Toliver McCauley, her husband , Paul Thomas Sowell, Sr., a daughter , Clara Louise Dunbar, a sister and two brothers.

Surviving are two sons Paul Thomas Sowell, Jr. Cinncinati, OH  and Dr. Jermaine Ash-Shahid Ali of Lousiville, KY; three sisters , Gloria McCauley-Freeman of Auburn Hills, MI; Shirley McCauley-Bunch and Rose McCauley- Lowery both of Paducah; two Granddaughters; several Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017, 12 noon , at Rosary Chapel Catholic Church. Father Stan Puryear will officiate. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Prayers will be said at the church on Saturday morning, 9:30 a.m. led by The Daughters of Isabella, Circle #258.
