Funeral service for Hillary Ray Riley, age 56, of Dumas, Arkansas, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, 12 Noon here at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Wade will officiate, and burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery of Metropolis.

He passed away on November 6, 2013, 8:30 am at Delta Memorial Hospital in Dumas.

Riley was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Metropolis, a graduate of Massac County High School, was presently employed with SAF Industries in Dumas and was a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Ben Riley, Sr., his mother Alma Lee Riley, his step-father, Eunice Lassiter, a brother and three sisters.

Survivor's include his wife, Clara Riley of Lewisville, TX; two sons, Hillary Riley, Jr. of Dallas, TX and Charles Allen of Metropolis, IL; two daughters, LaTonya Smith of Clute, TX and Tolesha Riley of Paducah, KY; eight grandchildren; five brothers, Virgil Eunice Riley, of Unionville, IL, Cameron Riley of Columbia, MO, James Riley and Clemar Lee Riley both of Metropolis, IL and Edgar Lee Burns of Vincent, IN; seven sisters, Sharon Ann Goodman, Brenda Faye Meadows, Emma Louise Riley, Mary M. Riley and Margaret Ann Bradford all of Metropolis , IL; Eunice Riley and Geraldine Turner both of East St. Louis, IL; several nieces, nephews cousins and other relatives.
