Herman Clark, 98, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2016, 3:55 am, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.

He was a member of Hills Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church and was a self-employed farmer.

He is survived by four sons, Herman Irvin Clark, Jr. and Edwin Lee Clark, both of Decatur, IL, Prentice Wayne Clark and Daniel Wayne Clark, both of Paducah; two daughters, Bettie Rose Clark of Decatur, IL and Belinda Marlene Hill of New Orleans, LA; seventeen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Verbena Denson Clark; parents, Roland Clark and Nina Stevens Clark; one son, George Robert Clark; two daughters, Maxcine Bernice Clark and Rose Mary Clark; and two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral service is scheduled for Monday, April 11, 2016, 12:00 noon at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverends B. Kennedy and Rita Story officiating. Burial will follow in Hills Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Monday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
