January 13, 1955 – June 14, 2024
1st Sgt. Henry Wallace Morris (Retired), age 69, of Orange Park, Fl. passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024. He was born in Paducah, Kentucky to the late James W. and Lois P. Morris.
Henry retired from the US Army after 20 years of service. After his Army retirement, he was a DCF Investigator, supervisor for Foster Care Management in Florida.
Henry accepted Christ at an early age. He loved and served the Lord with warmth and compassion at True Light Ministries. Henry had a great love for his family and hometown, Paducah, Ky. He would visit as often as possible to see family and friends. Although Henry was an avid lover of all sports, he bowled in a league for over 30 years. Though Henry may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact he made on our lives will forever remain.
Henry was a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra L.; daughter, Ambriel Carson; siblings: Marie Moss, Helen (Ken) Norris, Elizabeth Morris, Dolores McSparin, Marilyn Hawkins, Sarah (Eric) Foreman, Barbara Drain, Lucille Billingsley, James (Kazumi) Morris, Marthenia "Candy" Morris, William (Cathy) Morris, Mattie Morris and Gladys "Kaye" Morris; aunts, nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces & nephews and a host of cousins & friends.
The remembrance of life will be Saturday, August 10, 2024, 3:00PM, at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Bloomfield Ave.,
Paducah, KY 42001
