Obituary
Helen Walker Wilson. 95, Paducah, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015, 11:09 pm at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Mrs. Wilson was a member of St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church where she served on the Stewardess Board and former member of the choir. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L. A. Wilson, three sons, Woodrow Walker, Northern Walker, and Jimmy Walker and two sisters. Her parents were George Thomas and Erma Caldwell Thomas.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by five sons, Ronald Walker, Donald Walker, both of Youngstown, OH, Reginald Walker Milburn of Charlotte, NC, Kenney Walker Milburn and Ferrari Walker, both of Paducah, KY; three daughters, Norma Long, of Paducah, KY, Judy Walker, and Donna Burks, both of Louisville, KY; one brother, Doris Thomas, of Youngstown, OH; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. John African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend James Bolen and Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
The Family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
