Helen Marie Phill, age 48, of LaVergne, TN and formerly from Paducah, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, 1:00p.m., at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Antioch, TN.  She received her bachelor's degree as a Communication Program Analyst from Murray State University and was employed by Asurion as a computer analyst.

She is survived by her husband Jean-Phillip Phill of LaVergne, TN; three sons , Jeffery Johnson of Clarksville, TN, Jean-Phillip Phill, Jr. of Bowling Green, KY, and Jean M. Phill of LaVergne, TN; two granddaughters ; her father , James Thomas Johnson of Paducah; four brothers , James T. (Clarissa) Johnson, Jr. of Spring Hill, TN, Corey Jones, Michael Brown, and Jermaine Jones, all of Paducah, KY; one sister , Jamesha (Michael) Hughes of Mayfield, KY; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends .

She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Joyce Snipes Johnson, and her grandparents, R.V. and Annie Loretta Snipes.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, June 24, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at New Greater Love Church of Paducah with Elder LaRita Horton officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may also call at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

All attendees are required to wear masks.
