Graylon Bernard Kelly a graduate of Brookport High School left this earthly home to be with the Lord on April 23, 2023 in Mound City, IL at the age of 70 years 3 months and 16 days.

Graylon was born January 7, 1953 to his mother Thelma Wade and father Harlan Kelly.

Graylon was of the Methodist faith and was always an energetic and high-spirited person who loved socializing with family and friends.

Graylon is survived by four daughters, Dana Dunbar and Shonda Dunbar both of Rock Island, IL, Marlena (Jimi) Shaw and Alicia Jones both of Paducah; one son, Rahim Shabazz of Paducah; two sisters, Pamela Wade of Metropolis, IL and Brenda (Gary) Evans of Paducah; one brother, Anthony (Sakina) Watson of Kansas City, MO; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, one great aunt, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harlan Kelly and Thelma (Willie Edward) Watson, two sisters and one brother.

Graylon will be sadly missed by all that new and loved him.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023, 12 noon at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Alfred Anderson and Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis, IL.

Family and friends may call Saturday at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
