Gracie Faye Anderson, 61, of Metropolis, IL, passed away April 7, 2016 at Generations in Rock Island, Illinois.

Grace was born on August 21, 1954 in Victoria, Arkansas, to the late Harvey and Katherine (Holder) White. On July 2, 1971, she married Frank Anderson, Jr. She earned an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development. She enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, and studying the Word of God. Gracie also enjoyed spending time with her family and watching various television shows such as CSI:Miami, Family Feud, Criminal Minds, Inspector Lewis and Wheel of Fortune. Her favorite desserts were Red Velvet Cake, German Chocolate Cake and Butter Pecan Ice Cream. Everyone will remember her for her love, humbleness, and humor that she spread in people's lives.

Gracie is survived by her daughters: Octavia Anderson of Metropolis, Illinois, Lori Anderson-Bransford of Metropolis, Illinois, Dorothy White of Eudora, Arkansas, AR and Mary Davis of Chicago, Illinois; 7 Grandkids including Maurissa Anderson and Aaliyah Anderson, both of Metropolis, Illinois; one great-grandson, Tristan Brown of Metropolis, Illinois; Husband, Frank Anderson; 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Harvey White, Sr.; sister, Lisa White; brothers, Author White and Ocie White and a grandson, Tristan Anderson.
